My home girl, Natasha, totally rocked today’s round of America’s Next Top Model. You go girl! Not only was she called first at eliminations and termed most positive, but she also made Jay say, “You know, there is a reason those Russians take gold.” Yeah-huh. Despite some strange dialogue she exchanged with her 40+ year old husband on the phone, I am still very proud to see her blossom in this competition.
I can actually relate to her feeling like an outsider, but I think this week she has proven that she is a force to be reckoned with. Like any Russian woman. So, watch out America, she just might win. And even if she doesn’t, she is doing a fine job representing.
Another sad night on American Idol though. Sanjaya stays. As does his freakishly frightening hair that has taken on a life of its own. And Haley keeps landing in the bottom three, but won’t go home. Such is life though—a wild fauxhawk of semi-talented people whose looks take them unreasonably farther than the talent/looks equilibrium should allow.

I too was very proud of Natasha. She has come a long way and she is a genuinely sweet girl. I hope to see her go very far in the competition. I must point out that Renee has already been proven wrong by her comments to Whitney when she said “Come on, really, do you every think there will a plus size model (or woman) on the cover of Vogue?” Well, JENNIFER HUDSON landed the MARCH cover of Vogue baby! How ironic is that?? I am anxious to see how Idol goes tonight…will Sanjaya finally go home? Probably not for awhile…
Niki: Yeah. Idol is making me stressed out. I bet Sanjaya will stay for a long-long time. Which is very sad, because at this point, everyone else in the competition is more talented than he is. That means very talented people will be sacrificed for him to stay. Sad. Oh, and Renee better go home and not win America’s Next Top Model. She is sooo manipulative, insecure, and just plain spiteful. It’s so much fun to have a friend who keeps up with this stuff!
Don’t worry about Renee. She won’t win it all. She has to stay around for good drama!!!! I’m sorry Idol is stessing you out..as long as he doesn’t stay longer than Melinda, Lakisha, Blake, and Chris I’ll be okay. Do you hear that America!!!!!
