Those of you who have been following up with me may already know that I have been feeling quite sickly as of late, especially this Thanksgiving. Well, I finally had a CAT scan done today and found that I have a lesion on the bottom-right side of my brain. I am going in for more tests this afternoon that should be much more definitive.

According to my doctor, it could be anything from an infection to a serious tumor. It hasn’t really sunk in yet and, thankfully, I have an amazing sense of peace about the whole thing. A good thing about a brain lesion—crying makes my head hurt, so that’s definitely out of the question for now.

Needless to say, Nathan and I will appreciate your prayers more than you will ever know or we will ever be able to express. I will definitely keep everyone posted throughout this process.
