Classy, Affordable, Unique
You may not know this about me, but I really enjoy interior design. My house doesn’t always project or reflect this, but I try. I usually like to use pictures that we’ve taken and recently I decided to include artwork created by Hudson. I love it because not only does it cover bare walls, it is also incredibly meaningful. That being said, I wanted to share a couple of ideas that have worked out well for me.
First one consists of two canvas paintings. Hudson and I used finger paints and he really enjoyed the process. I must say that I might have enjoyed this project a lot more than I expected I would.

The second is a very simple idea and I am quite certain 99.9% of families with children have this one in one form or another. One day Hudson and I were super bored, so I decided to break out some finger paint and do his hand and footprints. We do this on a regular basis because Hudson gets a huge kick out of this. On that particular day I decided to do something nicer than usual. I captured his hand and footprints on a piece of green construction paper. They worked out so well that I decided to frame them. Add a fancy frame and you have a beautiful masterpiece.

I really love these creations, they are memories that I am going to enjoy and cherish forever. Do you have cool ideas about creating/encapsulating memories with your kids? If so, please do share.
