Eleven

And so the countdown continues…Even though I have not yet purchased those pieces of paper that will punctuate my passage through foreign lands, seas, and oceans to the other side of the world, my heart is ready.

I have always been a driven person. And an organized one. For some odd reason, I enjoy setting a goal and getting to it. But I don’t like the process of such journeying. I know I should. And I am working on it…

…because life is a journey, it’s not a destination. So I am attempting to shift my focus from the frequently changing destinations of my life to the journey itself. It might take a while. In the meantime, I am getting more and more excited about the day I will return to the land of the free.
