“Did you realize that today our appointment was billed as ‘Texas Brain and Spin’?”

“You’ll be fine as long as you don’t run 10 miles every day or go scuba diving.”

Me: “Doctor, why would antibiotics clear up an AVM headache?”
Neurosurgeon: “Well, to be honest, I really have no idea.”

“In the past, we used to cut people open and operate for three days straight to remove AVM’s. One guy would operate for 8 hours, then he’d leave and the next guy would come and operate for 8 hours. I think they do things differently now.”

“I’ve been trying to get into my wife’s brain for three and-a-half years and you managed to do it in 55 radiology films!”

“I’m 27 years old and I still want my mommy when I go in for brain surgery.”
