Month Four

Hudson is four months old today. This month has been better than month two, but not quite as good as month three. Hudson stopped sleeping through the night three nights ago and has been exhibiting signs of extreme hunger, so we’ve made an executive decision to start him on rice cereal without consulting his pediatrician. Oh well. Life happens.

He seems to have done well with his one teaspoon of cereal, but he is still very hungry, so I am gearing up for a long night. Besides this extreme hunger and a few sleepless nights as of late, this month has really been good. Hudson has started to laugh a lot more, reach for things (like mama’s hair, ouch!), roll over, make lots of different noises, and just in general make us very happy to be his parents.
