My husband had somewhere to be this Saturday morning so I asked him to drop me off at our gigandous mall, thinking I would spend a couple of hours there, looking. Five hours and a few credit card transactions later I am all retail-therapied out. I have successfully and, perhaps for the first time in a long time, shopped until I dropped!
My absolute favorite is Macy’s, but only on a sale day, which happened to be today (I refuse to pay $60 for a sweater or $35 for a belt). In fact, most of the stores had a one day sale going; unfortunately, there was only one me and I ran out of steam quickly. I felt like I was swimming in a sea of strollers, faces, bad Christmas sweaters, ball caps, and a string of jolly holiday hits converging into one unending tune. Good times.
