Texas Spring

...also known as sinus infection season. I’ve been knocked down by the second sinus infection in four months. This one is a lot more vicious than the one I battled after Thanksgiving. This morning I couldn’t catch my breath for better part of the day. I got winded walking from the bedroom to the kitchen. Really, sinus infection? Are you kidding me?
I was frantic there for a moment and actually thought about calling 911, but then I remembered about Nathan’s inhaler, the one he was prescribed last Fall for his bronchitis. I know you are not supposed to use other people’s medicine, especially something like an inhaler, but I decided to live on the edge, just this once. The medicine hadn’t expired, so off it went into my restricted airways and I am happy to report that I’ve been breathing better ever since.
The problem with not getting enough air in your lungs, at least for me, is that you start to panic, which doesn’t help the situation. The more you freak out, the less air/oxygen you get, so the cycle perpetuates. Anyway, I hope I am not developing asthma because we will have to say good-bye to Texas if that’s the case.

I hope you’ll get better quick! That sounds awful! Will you have to go get some medicine for that? I worry about you and love you lots! Mom
Oh lady…are you feeling better? I think Matt is e-mailing you…we’re pretty sure we’re moving to Dallas! I’ll keep you posted.
