Trip Chronicles
We’ve been adjusting to the time change, the food change, and life without air conditioning. It’s taken us a little while, but I think we are getting there. Hudson is sleeping well at night. He has a little crib, but he can’t sleep in it the whole night. He always asks to come sleep with me on the couch sometime in the middle of the night, which is fine, and even kind of sweet.
He has adjusted well to being with his grandparents and doesn’t even want me anymore. I have to say all those hours of Skyping with them has paid off — he hasn’t been too shy around them at all. It’s a huge relief and a wonderful feeling that I can take a nap, eat a hot meal, or even just take a walk by myself. Glorious!
Unfortunately, I am not able to post any pictures at this time, so you’ll have to wait until I get back to see them. I am really sorry about that, but I promise it’ll be worth the wait.
It is so undescribably good to be home.
