Trip Chronicles, Continued

We are doing fabulously well in these here remote parts of the world. Hudson is beside himself with excitement due to all these new places, faces, and toys. Every day we take field trips somewhere and he loves it. He has adjusted enough to the time change and is now back to his lark-y ways — waking up at 5:30 am, ready for the day. Thankfully, my parents are letting me sleep in (all the pain of traveling alone with a toddler for 24 hours is forgotten because I can now get some SLEEP!)

Today we went to camp Gideon on the Baltic Sea. If you have been there, you know what that place means for the soul. If you haven’t been there, you should visit, if you get a chance. It’s so peaceful there, serene, and gorgeously beautiful.

We spent some time on the beach because the water is still warm (it’s been in the 80’s and even 90’s here for weeks, which is very unusual). Hudson loved the water and he discovered that he can throw rocks far and wide. Needless to say we had to drag him away from that place, kicking and screaming. He is such a water bug and he’s been loving all these lakes and the sea — large bodies of water that he has never seen in his life.

Later today we are going to visit a water park in hopes to wear the little guy out. He is going to love it, for sure. And I am loving having so many people who can watch him, so I can just relax and take it all in. Beautiful.

I posted a few pictures here, so you can check them out. I am still having technical difficulties with picture editing, so I will probably post very few, for now.
