Oh Olga, you make me laugh. You are not even telling the truth that you ate crushed egg shells!! I find it very interesting that serving tea cold is an insult in your culture. We Americans are very insulting!!! What a fun post! Thank you for sharing.
This is so cute! I can’t believe the egg shell thing either. I have to agree on the roller coasters and after not having a cat for 8 years I probably will never own one again.
Niki & Laura: The egg shell thing really did happen. I know it sounds unbelievable. I shelled the eggs myself and then we would crush the shells and store. It took both my parents talking me into swallowing a spoon-full of crushed egg shells. I believe the dentist and pediatrician recommended it because of my funky shaped teeth. They were concerned I was not getting enough calcium. An American dentist later told me my teeth were affected because I had high fever in the critical stages of teeth formation. It has since been confirmed by numerous other dentists here. So much for the crushed egg shell cure. I suppose it cut my risk of osteoporosis in half. I still wouldn’t recommend it.
